About the Conference

The 1st Uganda Avocado Conference

HASS Uganda (Hope Horticulture and Avocado Supply Services) in collaboration with other regional and international organizations in the Fruits and vegetables value chain in Uganda and beyond are pleased to announce to all stakeholders around the world that the 1st Uganda Avocado Conference 2026 will be held at the(uganda industrial research institute), Kampala, Uganda on 29th - 31st July 2026.

Richard Welishe

Conference Director & Lead Organizer

Richard Welishe is a visionary agricultural development expert with over 15 years of experience in Uganda's horticulture sector. As the founder of HASS Uganda (Hope Horticulture and Avocado Supply Services), he has been instrumental in connecting smallholder farmers to international markets and driving the growth of Uganda's avocado industry. His leadership has positioned Uganda as an emerging player in the global avocado trade.
